On the 24th of the 5th month, 1674. as I lay in my bed, waiting on the Lord in the morning watch, the universal love of God I felt shed abroad in my heart, in which sprang the counsel of God unto me, to write and send speedily a vvarning unto all the opposers, disputers, misrepresenters, vilifiers, vvriters & printers against the spiritual appearance of the Son of God's love, Christ Jesus our Lord, &c.
