Description
Item Description:Attributed to Samuel Nevill by Felcone, q.v.
"All published. Issued serially, with its own pagination and signing, from January 1758 through March 1760 in the New American magazine (see [Felcone] entries 22, 38, and 49). ... When the magazine ceased publication in 1760, the publication of the history also ended. Second editions of the January and February 1758 numbers of the magazine were printed from reset types in 1758, resulting in two different sets of sheets of gatherings A through D of the history. No textual differences between the sheets have been found. While several separately bound copies of the book are known in early bindings, no evidence has been found to indicate whether Parker himself offered such copies for sale."--Felcone.
Evans records publication date as 1761.
