The work was revived by Handel at the King's Theatre in December that year, in a revised version in which he inserted five Italian arias from his earlier operas Alcina, Arminio, and Giustino--From preface. Critical report in German by Mark Risinger and Hendrik Wilken. For solo voices, mixed chorus (SATB), and orchestra. Includes English libretto in reduced facsimiles of the London : Jacob and Richard Tonson, 1744 edition; German translation by Michael Pacholke and Hendrik Wilken; texts from additional arias in Appendix I version of December 1744 in Italian with German and English translation.
