Meanwhile Fantine, a working class woman abandoned by her rich lover, is driven to increasingly desperate measures to provide for her young daughter. Their stories collide and as revolutionary violence ignites on the streets of Paris, Jean Valjean begins his journey towards self-acceptance, redemption and love. Javert is in turmoil as he finally confronts Valjean. Marius is miraculously reunited with his love Cosette, and wonders who could have saved his life. Out of love for his adoptive daughter, Valjean makes a heart-breaking decision. | ||
